Subliminal Message in Spider Pig Song

I was recently playing with Audacity and the song “Spider Pig” (The one that Homer sings not the one from the soundtrack) from the new “Simpsons Movie”, which I loved. First time I heard that song I found it hilarious for its simple genius. I started playing it fast, slow, changing pitch, basically having fun. Then I remembered this conference I went to, where they said you could hear “Subliminal”, hidden messages, when you reverse songs. So I did. I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard the words “a good dead pussy”! Maybe I was just influenced by the power of suggestion. Maybe I wanted to find something and did. You be the judge. Download Audacity and use it to record the “Spider Pig” song from the many Youtube or Google Videos available. Reverse it and start listening from the part where it’s supposed to say “lookout”. If I’m wrong the worst that will happen is you’ll loose a few minutes of your life. If you think I’m right please comment.

I have made many corrections to this particular post. You will only be able to listen to the message in the one that Homer sings.

I have just had a go at this and found exactly the same thing.
How weird is that.
I never believed any of that reverse stuff.

Thanks Ryan. The most interesting part is the fact that the subliminal phrase starts on the word “lookout”. It’s as if they wanted people to find out. I’m bet this is only the first of many.

I gave it a try and heard the same thing. Actually, I think Homer continues with “nasty one”. So, the whole phrase might be “a good dead pussy, nasty one”.

i downloaded the program but i dont know how 2 use it, please just let me know how 2 record the sound off of the video & play it in reverse… pleeeeeez!!!!

1. Open Audacity and click the record button.
2. Play whatever you want to record.
3. Then hit the stop button.
4. Press [Ctrl] + [A] (Select all.) on your keyboard.
5. Then click Effect, Reverse on Audacity’s menu.
6. Then press play and that’s it.
