Possible Human Treatment for Inherited Retardation and Autism

This morning I was reading an article on the MIT website that I just had to share with everyone I know. The article is called; “MIT corrects inherited retardation, autism in mice”, and then goes to say, “The work, which will be reported in the Dec. 20 issue of Neuron, indicates that a certain class of drugs could have the same effect in humans”. The implications of such a discovery are so incredible, so huge, that I could barely believe what I was reading.
